Rapid Recap & Video Highlights: UConn prevails at Butler

UConn pulled off a gutsy, come-from-behind win over Butler at Hinkle Fieldhouse, 88-81.

The Bulldogs led by as much as eight points in the first half and took a seven-point advantage into the break. Alex Karaban scored 15 of his team-high 20 points in the second half as the Huskies claimed the lead with 15 minutes left.

Tristen Newton, Stephon Castle, and Cam Spencer all stepped up in the second half to push the Huskies to victory while Hassan Diarra once again provided strong minutes off the bench.

The Huskies advance to 13-2 on the season, with a visit to Xavier up next, on Wednesday, January 10th at 8:30 p.m. on FS1.
